When I first graduated with Psych, people asked me if I would do it again if I had the chance.  I told them no, that I would BDIC in Muppets.  Jim Hensen studios would have to give me a job because, hey, none of them had a fucking degree in Muppets.

Library Science, unless I'm feeling masochistic (and get a shitload of aid money) and go for a dual-degree program with history. I don't recall if URI offers one, I'd have to check. Studies won't be in the immediate future because I need to, well, get all my shit together and apply.  But you'll be at URI for awhile, and I hope to be sending out applications within the next year or so.

I do know that URI, since it's a research university that grants doctoral degrees, REQUIRES that you take your GRE before applying to grad school. So if you haven't already, it may not be a bad idea to get that over and done with.  That test scares the shit out of me, and I'm a couple years away from taking it.

Hmm. That's odd, when I last looked at URI's MLS program my GPA allowed me to skip the GRE. I comprehend basic algebra and geometry, I just get lost when they start approaching calc and 4-dimensional thinking. My brain doesn't bend in that direction, and I don't think it makes me a bad person. Testmakers will please go fuck themselves now. I recall liking trig in high school because it made a lot more sense than advanced algebra. It just bothers me that so much of the math they test for isn't applicable in everyday life unless you're an engineer, architect, mathematician or otherwise a member of a specialized field. There's a REASON you people get paid lots of money to build houses that don't fall down, 'kay? Just accept that you're wired differently and stop trying to tell me the maths are all super-easy. Geh. I'll stop ranting now.
