I've given up and downloaded a generic biped rig for blender and I'm working on attaching it to the mesh without all the polygons flying off into space  :sad:

No idea. It uses material spheres so it's not a full raytrace. Leaves a lot of inappropriate lit parts, especially inside the mouth and stuff so I run an ambient occlusion map in blender then import that back into sculptris to compensate.
