That line from the father's song in Mary Poppins, where he's going on about how nothing can go wrong, in Britain in 1910.  That's about the point I realized the boy was gonna die in a trench.

So as I mentioned a few days ago I put this drug collection thing together.  Basically allowing people to drop off expired, unwanted medications.  There was this story in Belfast, Maine where some guy dropped off all of his deceased Dad's meds.  As they were going through the pills they found a family heirloom, a wedding band that had been passed down through generations.

Well that's nothing compared to what was brought to us.  There was this one guy that brought a bag of stuff.  And in one of the pill bottles was this....thing....I think it was some kind of pet or animal or something.  Maybe a mouse?  I dunno, but I snapped a picture of it....it really creeped us all the fuck out. Check this shit out.

That's a Luke-warm joke, at best.

Richter

:mittens:

It started out innocent you know.
The fmaily probably went out and saw him somwhere, thought he was cute, and decided he'd be a good pet, so they borught him home.  Teach the kids some responsibility.

SO tehy bring it in, and for awhiel he's the favorite pet.  They groom him, walk him, get him fixed, and everything's shiny.  Then reality sets in.  THey realize they have to train him (A face like that CAN'T be housebroken), and the mess jsut gets to be a pain.  They don't know how to train though, so they do somethign quick and convenient like cramming him under the sink.

WEll, one day, they decide it's sjut easier not to let him back out.  After a few days the bumping stops, and that's that.  They stop usign the spot under the sink.  It's just left alone.

A decade or so later, the turn - in comes up, so they decide to pass him off as a bag of old drugs (accurate?), and throw him anonymously at the first person hintign amnesty.  I'm surpirsed you haven't gotten more.

Anyone ever think about how Richter inhabits the same reality as you and just scream and scream and scream, but in a good way?   :lulz:

Actually, the other day one of them found out where I lived and randomly wandered up and left a bag on my stoop.

Bury him in the Hudson, lest he be buried at the Karaoke Bar where people might build a shrine or something.

Being known and noted in your local music scene for outlandishness is strange.  But not on AKK.

AKK: not even once.

The surface of the river is too hard for affordable excavation equipment.

Okay, the Saratoga Springs then.  I mean, I'm assuming if you are going to name your city Saratoga Springs there must be an actual spring or two nearby right?

Though, it wouldn't surprise me that the city he is from would do something outlandish and name their city after fictional bodies of water.

There are no springs in Tarpon Springs. There are also no tarpon in Lake Tarpon.

There are also no falls in Central Falls...
