as to the anti-militarist part, I'm for conquest in our best economic interests and for repelling an attack from another hostile nation, but not for the spreading of any idea or method of rule.

That particular question pissed me off more than any other.  No free-market economy exists at a state level in any developed country that I've read about.  Only black markets even come close to resembling a free market, and the prices still reflect regulation at the state level controlling the CODB in the product.

I didn't think I was an economic leftist at all. Not even a little. And it sounds like you and I answered the militaristic questions along the same lines. I'm wondering exactly how dogmatic you'd have to be to even get 1% on the right side of the scale for any of these categories.

I think it may be case like those Libertarian Diamond Charts. Youd take the test and unless you were a hardcore facist you would turn up as a libertarian of some sort. Then you could click on links to libertarian sites and books ect.

Its the Center for a Stateless Society running the test. Youre supposed to discover how much of a economic leftist, anti-military anarchist you are and then subscribe to their newsletter.

It should be noted on the leftist/rightist thing that C4SS.org take a somewhat different view to the mainstream use of those terms, though it has some historical accuracy.  Basically, they don't presume free markets and the acquisition of capital/property as a left/right signifiers, instead they look at belief in cooperation or conflict and top down hierarchy versus bottom up organizing.

And yeah, I didnt say this test was perfect, only that it was better than Political Compass which, while popular and somewhat useful, has so many fucking bad questions its not funny.
