Caught implies that I had meant to misrepresent the facts. I did not. I stated the facts as I believed them to be. When I had verified that I was in error I made haste to correct that mistake.

Dippy is so used to being  the smartest in her subdivision that she forgot that "above average" leaves a lot of room for play.

She can write like a motherfucker, I won't deny that. Her bio of her dad and her memoirs are fucking brilliant and incredibly compelling. But her reading comprehension and ability to interact with people of her intellectual equal or better is extremely stunted.

I feel bad for her, from the perspective that it most likely is a reflection of living her entire life without true peers, or ever being intellectually challenged.
