Howl, I am deeply regretful that I supported in any way Yatto's return. I expected him to return with some measure of humility, but he came back determined to show you your comeuppance, and that's straight bullshit. I still don't think he deliberately porn spammed anyone, but rather than being the amusing/harmless participant he was before, he seems to be trying to morph into some kind of self-important AKK clone.

When you hit the x next to a message, it archives it, and you can see all your archived messages since forever by clicking the magnifying glass next to the "search messages" box at the top left of the message screen, and selecting "archived messages" from the drop-down menu.

Since this seems to be an issue, yes you can delete messages on Facebook. If you do it from your inbox, clicking the x will archive it. But if you go into the message itself you can delete it. If needed I will make a screen shot to demonstrate.

Yes, I went and looked at it when this came up before. And on the laptop, you're correct, the only option is "archive". But on the mobile version, you can still delete. Khara stated that she was accessing the net on her phone during that time.

Have a look: http://m.facebook.com/ Go into your messages and click into one, then look at the dropdown menu. The mobile version still has "delete".

She doesn't need the minor details to know the messages were there and now they're deleted. Some things you remember and some things you don't, but I'd think she'd remember putting the law on somebody and why. She's not crazy or stupid. That's why she got insulted.

You made an honest mistake, because facebook IS borked and you didn't expect the mobile version to let you do something that the desktop doesn't. Now we have a clusterfuck. Sometimes it happens that way.

I was not questioning THAT it happened, I was asking for evidence that would prove that it was malicious, because she was insisting it was malicious. I still do not believe it was malicious, and her extreme defensiveness about it really didn't help her case. It seemed to boil down to "I don't remember exactly and I don't like Yatto so it doesn't matter". When, in fact, it does matter very much if you're going to accuse someone of a IRL crime, whether anyone likes them or not.
