PD.com forums: a disorganized echo-chamber full of concordian, Greyfaced radical left-wing nutjobs who honestly believe they can take down imaginary Nazis by distributing flyers. They are highly-suspicious of all newcomers and hostile to almost everyone, including themselves. The only thing they don't take seriously is Discordianism.

Howl, I am deeply regretful that I supported in any way Yatto's return. I expected him to return with some measure of humility, but he came back determined to show you your comeuppance, and that's straight bullshit. I still don't think he deliberately porn spammed anyone, but rather than being the amusing/harmless participant he was before, he seems to be trying to morph into some kind of self-important AKK clone.

Welcome to Howl's House of Dysfunction.   :lulz:

Just another asshole with a bucket full of butthurt that has decided that I am the anti-Christ.  Just another day on PD.

They just have to try to stand out by doing the exact same thing everyone else is doing. :lulz:

They don't even make a pretense of deleting them. When you hit the x next to a message, it archives it, and you can see all your archived messages since forever by clicking the magnifying glass next to the "search messages" box at the top left of the message screen, and selecting "archived messages" from the drop-down menu.

Since this seems to be an issue, yes you can delete messages on Facebook. If you do it from your inbox, clicking the x will archive it. But if you go into the message itself you can delete it. If needed I will make a screen shot to demonstrate.

You know what?  Fuck it.  I've been trying for weeks, particularly in the last few days, to try to get things moving on PD again.

But the best we can do is feed on our own, flounce every fucking Tuesday, and over what?

I give up.  I'm not flouncing, but I'm not gonna sweat any more blood over it.  I'm also not going to invest any more time in people whose ONLY response to EVERYTHING is to throw a fit and leave.  Not take a break, mind you, but OH GOD THIS IS THE FUCKING END every Goddamn time I turn around.

dude, relax. there's been cool content the past few days, inspired by your kick in the pants, which was great and what everybody needed.

there's the Perry/Gay images, the Bachmann GASM and lots of inspired postings.

don't let this stupid arguing ruin a good thing :)

What Trip said.

Also, I thought of a Fracture thing earlier today, I think I'll go expand on it.

Dok, I'm not flouncing. Fuck that.

Stella, have you looked at FB's messaging system? The option is not "delete", it's "archive".

Yes, I went and looked at it when this came up before. And on the laptop, you're correct, the only option is "archive". But on the mobile version, you can still delete. Khara stated that she was accessing the net on her phone during that time.

Have a look: http://m.facebook.com/ Go into your messages and click into one, then look at the dropdown menu. The mobile version still has "delete".

Khara has admitted not remembering details about exactly what happened, and she has decided to interpret my suggestion that she was mistaken about the nature of the links as me calling her a liar; to choose to perceive herself as being victimized, rather than viewing it as an attempt to analyze the version of events she presented.

She doesn't need the minor details to know the messages were there and now they're deleted. Some things you remember and some things you don't, but I'd think she'd remember putting the law on somebody and why. She's not crazy or stupid. That's why she got insulted.

You made an honest mistake, because facebook IS borked and you didn't expect the mobile version to let you do something that the desktop doesn't. Now we have a clusterfuck. Sometimes it happens that way.

AFAIAC it's ok because Yatto is shitlisted now. No doubts.

Just so you know, I can do it from my laptop. I have no mobile phone.
And even though no one has asked I'll put the screenshot up as well.

Not that I really expect this to be seen or acknowledged.

YOU BASTARD

Through me the way to the city of woe, Through me the way to everlasting pain, Through me the way among the lost.
Justice moved my maker on high.
Divine power made me, Wisdom supreme, and Primal love.
Before me nothing was but things eternal, and eternal I endure.

Look, asshole:  Your 'incomprehensible' act, your word-salad, your pinealism...It BORES ME.  I've been incomprehensible for so long, I TEACH IT TO MBA CANDIDATES.  So if you simply MUST talk about your pineal gland or happy children dancing in the wildflowers, go talk to Roger, because he digs that kind of shit

I was not questioning THAT it happened, I was asking for evidence that would prove that it was malicious, because she was insisting it was malicious. I still do not believe it was malicious, and her extreme defensiveness about it really didn't help her case. It seemed to boil down to "I don't remember exactly and I don't like Yatto so it doesn't matter". When, in fact, it does matter very much if you're going to accuse someone of a IRL crime, whether anyone likes them or not.
