I've seen two episodes.

I'm not hooked, but my opinion of the show is generally positive at this point. One more episode, and my fate will be sealed. PONIES... FOREVER...
My shit list: Stephen Harper, anarchists that complain about taxes instead of institutionalized torture, those people walking, anyone who lets a single aspect of themselves define their entire personality, salesmen that don't smoke pipes, Fredericton New Brunswick, bigots, philosophy majors, my nemesis, pirates that don't do anything, criminals without class, sociopaths, narcissists, furries, juggalos, foes.

huh, there is actually a character named Discord

Between this, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, there is no doubt that there's a Discordian employed somewhere at Cartoon Network.

There's some Discord rule 34 out there that you don't wanna see.

Or maybe you do, I don't know. I can't remember how I found it but it was :horrormirth:

Semi-related question.

What's up with girls and ponies? Why the fascination? Why the desire to get a horse and learn how to ride them?

I don't know, I've often wondered this myself.

One theory I have seen is that it is essentially female Aspergers.  That theory is stupid, though.

NPR has an almost equally unconvincing explanation http://www.npr.org/2011/02/09/133600424/why-do-girls-love-horses-unicorns-and-dolphins

Yeah, none of those explanations really ring all that true for me. The theory that it's female Aspegers is totally dumb.
