TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

Not that I mind being black, mind you. But being LEGALLY black according to a Federal law which overrides State laws about legal blackness... well jesus fuck what is that? Also under former Oregon law my children were legally black, under this new overarching Federal law they are not.

My children, legally speaking, are white.

Also I hate humanity what is this.

This is really weird.

It's not that weird, historically speaking in the US, anyway. Prior to this, many states, including Oregon, had a law called "the one-drop rule". This is one of those things that colored people grow up with and white people don't even know exist, which is the reason only white people say things like "I don't see color" or "I don't view people's race".

There's brownish people, there's whitish people, there's white people who could pass as brown (my dad definitely, he's got a thirty year old tan and could pass as a border hopper almost, and he's of Dutch descent), and there's brown people who could pass as white (my friend Pool Hall could, I think she's Mexican?  I don't know.  She looks white-with-a-tan but I think she's naturally olive).

Sometimes when I'm bored I try to amuse myself by focusing on features that give clues to their ancestry, but I'm not very good at it.

I don't doubt that there's stupid laws covering race, but its fucking stupid anyways.  :(

Yeah, it's pretty stupid. And it's also the reason that until the 1970's people "of color" couldn't buy houses outside of Portland's Red Line.

The ONLY people who say "race doesn't matter" are white people. Period ever the end.

I do not hold it against you or the other white people I care about. Besides, you have your own row to hoe as a young single mom and it will not be easy for you either.
