Not even any kind of idea with the Thai place...  it was too long ago. The bookstore was called "The Tattered Cover".

Yeah, it's been bizarre from Utah on. Those Salt-Fogs started blowing dust out through my heat vents. Completely coated the inside of my car then me. Kept going all the way through Utah but literally stopped dead the second I crossed the Nevada line. Was a little worried I was having a "Moment," either that or Moroni was pissed at me for disparaging his promised land or whatever. Then it dawned on me that Wendover started, casino-hotels and all, like 3 steps over the border. Probably blocked the wind and held down the dust. That was over 100 miles of puzzled quasi-paranoia, though.

Suspect today will be a bit less  :eek:. Got a full night's sleep last night (was running on about 4 for 48 until then)...also it's just Reno--where I will NOT be stopping to play a few hands--then Cali...not normal but more in line with my idea of it. The high-desert and I have always shared a very "created by Rod Serling" relationship.

ROGUE. That's the beer I was thinking of. I knew there was a Oregon beer that I dug immensely, just couldn't remember the name. Saw it in a bar here in North Beach. That from Portland? Can't wait to taste their beers fresh.
