And this is coming from someone who has sent Nigel a nasty, shameful PM that I was too much of a pussy to post publicly (because it was psychotic bullshit) and lived to talk about it.

It's not okay, dude, even if your friend does it. Taking your friend's side in spite of their acting like a fucking idiot was not the right move. And as a friend your response or lack thereof reflects your character. Do Eartha a favor and give her some grief for being A) a chickenshit, and B) creepy as fuck, you know, as a friend.

It's a shitty spot to be put in but I think it's fair to poke you for a response when you might have some insight about such behavior. Rather than try to explain it you try to pretend like your choice in friends does not say something about you. WTF? I thought you were a pretty cool dude.

I hang out with people who do things and say things that I don't agree with, but I don't feel compelled to defend them merely because I'm associated with them. In fact, I'd relish the opportunity to argue with them in public sphere. It's also not an either/or—you can tell Eartha that the spineless form of harassment she is directing towards Nigel isn't cool without alienating her as a friend, AND you could call her out publicly.

The absence of such suggests you feel Nigel deserves harassment, or you yourself are also a pussy and afraid of taking a stand. Seeing how the latter seems improbable, I'm left to conclude Nigel's objection to a joke (which I don't actually even agree with) has left your anus cratered. I don't get it man.
