What I mean to say is that the stuff posted here recently isn't the kind of thing I'm usually into, and judging by responses, what I'm posing isn't generally taking a lot of interest either. That's ok; it just means I'm in a bit of a low posting stage.

I came here first learning about Discordia, and actually gave up on it when I read the 'recommended Discordian works and saw someone getting flamed for recommending RAW. In the end I got back here after reading and enjoying the Intermittens stuff. One of my first posts was to declare I wanted to edit an edition. So projects like that are good.

As for gettin a project going? I don't know. I'm not honestly optimistic, but like I said, I think things are cyclical. This time next year there could be an influx of creative energy bubbling away.

I still post and will continue to. But right now there's not a lot of discussions that 'click'.

In all honesty, I dig RAW. I think his writing is questionable but I'm a big proponent of fun as a ideological alignment. I kinda feel like Douglas Adams did Discordia better than any Discordian has done to date. This shit can't be deliberate, you know.

I posted the story because I was trying to say that while I originally found the tone of the place off-putting, being a part of a project that was really exciting and cool was what brought me back, and got me posting in new contexts.

Then I sort of felt like it was taken the wrong way and I was being dogpiled for being a RAW fanboy (I haven't read his work yet but enjoyed the clips and the documentary I've seen of him) and went into emo MCR mode rather that just clafying because ive been a bit of a sensitive snowflake lately.

Yeah.  It seems to be heavily influenced by Doctor Who and Sherlock and similar in terms of production style.  I've watched the first episode, but haven't gotten any further yet.
