So, called in sick today.  Hacking cough, exhaustion, general pain, etc.

Slept for about 16 hours.  Felling better.  Making egg drop soup, finally watching Cosmos, the NDT version.  It's Science 101, with a bit of Giordino Bruno thrown in.

Nothing I didn't already know about,  but it's a fun show, and the CGI is pretty cool.

There is something nasty going around.  Some people at work have a nasty cough with low level flu symptoms.

I've avoided it so far by being antisocial and working nights.  Wont last forever, though

So I'm leaving here to fly to Maine on April 1st and then flying back in the middle of May to collect ECHGF, the animals, and our stuff.

Does it make me a bad person that, as bummed as I am that I won't see ECHGF for 6 weeks, I am WAY more bummed that I won't see my dog for that period of time?

I need a purge.  Doing the Santa Rita No Headlights Challenge tonight, solo, with shotgun and a case of diet rootbeer.

If all goes well, I shall be travelling tomorrow, arriving at TF Green at 10:53 PM, staying until the 23rd.

Well, there's only one solution, really.  Stop caring, go full potato in a jeep for a few hours, then haul ass across country to crap on people who have fucked us royally, then go party with some friends.
