But hating plants seems hilarious to me.

Like is it an angry hate or a phobic hate, or a loathing or a slightly negative indifference?

I mean how does she deal with those turnips? Does she go?

Turnips are a variety of Brassica Rapa, which she has a particular animosity towards. So yeah, I imagine they enrage her.

SHE DOES NOT LIKE FLOWERS. This I know.

My bio lab partner is a pretty unique person. She is highly competent, especially compared to my chem lab partner. But today, in the coniferous plant lab, she was super grumpy. I found it hilarious, but she really fucking hates plants.

Also: she is a vegetarian.

I wish she was also my chem lab partner. The time my current partner was out sick, I partnered with her and it was great.
