I've heard a lot about this. I really enjoyed Solaris, so I'm gonna put it in my Netflix queue.

I have Stalker downstairs and i have been meaning to watch it sometime.  Apparently Stalkers were people who sneaked into military practice ranges and hunted for unexploded shells and mines to sell according to Dmitry Glukhovsky who wrote metro 2033 (not a bad book).
