Title: Dok, I'm lovin' it.
Post by: Kai on May 24, 2010, 07:08:43 PM
Things are getting weird, Roger, and I mean weirder than normal. Not that my life is normal; I'm a goddamn bug freak, fer chrissakes.

I've gotten myself into this situation, and I'm sure I don't want out of it. You see, last week this woman on one of those online dating sites messaged me, something like "having trouble composing myself, you are lovely, message me", in a nutshell.

Next thing I know, I'm two hours from home in northern Georgia.

I'm normally not hasty about these things, Roger. But this woman is fucking smart. And I mean, REALLY smart. She blows me out of the water. And she thinks I'm a godlike being, for some reason.

Did I mention she's a porn star, a professional dominatrix, one of those proverts? That she runs her own number of websites? Oh, and here's the other thing: she has a fiancee. Except he's gay, highly attractive and walks around the house in dresses. All nestled in a matrix of suburbia. She even had me model some handcuffs (just my hands, mind you) for a video review.

This is as deep down the rabbit hole as I've ever been, Roger, and what I've said isn't the half of it. It feels like I'm headed into your territory of weirdness, relationship wise. But I'm loving every minute of it. Does that make me crazy? From Thursday evening to Sunday morning I slept less than 10 hours, ate food that's horrible for me, and felt more loved than I have in a long time. That house is a nexus of weird, and I'm lovin' it, Roger. You can't keep me away.

Kai, this is awesome!

I can (sort of) relate. I've been really making moves toward where I really want to be, and sometimes if can be unsettling and scary letting go of certain people, fears and anxieties and all the challenges that come with forward progress. Cutting off the tail can sting pretty bad, so hearing this from you is encouraging for me. And it makes me happy to hear  :) and more optimistic about my future.

That sounds like an awesome good time (coming from the guy in a poly relationship with a married transsexual couple).

It /is/ an awesome good time, Vene. And the weirdness just makes it better.

I'm starting to fall for her fiancee as well...this might turn into a polyfidelidous triad. Though, I'm not sure I could fuck a republican. Funny that, a gay, trans-ish republican. Oh, and the neighbors don't know a thing about any of this. They think the two of them are just an ordinary couple, don't know about her work, or the 24/7 cameras, or anything. We went out to a Karaoke joint with the guy next door, where I sang James Taylor's Steamroller Blues and Hotel California, and we had to pretend to be just friends. It was a weird experience, after which she couldn't keep her hands off me.

I mean, how many people can say they've fisted a porn star? If you think that's TMI, then good thing it's where I shut my mouth.

The most important thing is when your instinct, your intuition pulls you into the weird, don't back down. Take it by the ears and ride it. Otherwise you'll never know where it might have taken you. And you can always let go later if the ride is no fun.

I bet it happens more often than people think.

Judging from the deviants I chat with (lots and lots online, not so many in real life, I'm a lil jealous of Kai)  It happens not just more than people think, but WAY more than people think.

But since you've never talked to me before I'm going to tell you to fuck off. Kindly. Thanks.

1 out of 6 people in the USA have herpies, docs think the un-reported cases actually bump that up to 1 in 3, I'd be amazed if there was a porn star who didnt have it. thinking I caught it once scared the living shit outa me, I wish a complete stranger had told me to be a little more careful back then and maybe I wouldent have had to shit bricks for two weeks while waiting for the test results to come back.

It would almost be funny if this was one of those one time flings, but considering the circumstances, a person this intelligent which I click with so well and actually wouldn't mind seeing what comes of it, even to the possibility of spending the rest of my life with her....yeah.

People I meet who are more intelligent than me- 2.2%
People I meet who are interested in me - 0.05%
People I meet who are more intelligent than me and are interested in me - You do the math.

Sweetheart, if it makes you and they happy, then go with it.

I have been a sex worker and associated with other sex workers. In terms of VD, modern, urban sex workers are incredibly safe due to the standards of safe practice; use normal precautions, and worry no further than that.

They sound like a lovely couple with high potential to bring great sexual/emotional joy into your life; my opinion is (and you know great parts of my opinion!) ENJOY THE HELL OUT OF IT!

Your body is a treasure. Mine it.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/5519313/US-porn-industry-hit-by-Aids-fears-as-16-cases-of-HIV-revealed.html

The porn industry, which is largely centred in the San Fernando Valley suburbs of Los Angeles, includes about 200 production companies that employ about 1,200 actors, according to the paper.
Since 2004, 1,357 porn performers have tested positive for gonorrhea and 15 for syphilis, according to county health data cited by the Times.

Yeah, we're using normal precautions (condoms, no oral for now). There's no worry /from me/ at least because I've never been sexually active.

Edit: Oh, and the girl in question? She doesn't fuck anyone outside of relationships. She's not a standard porn star, she's a camgirl and runs a bunch of websites. She's not going out and blowing fifty guys a month. Which means she is not in any way more vulnerable to STD's than the general population, probably far less vulnerable, since she knows her sex health and takes precautions when needed.

Homigod. Did you even BOTHER reading that article?

QuoteThe adult film industry said it was the first case since the 2004 outbreak, the LA Times reported.

In fact, 22 performers have tested positive, including last week's case and five in 2004, according to the numbers released by the Los Angeles county Department of Public Health.

Since the 2004 outbreak, in which one male star infected three actresses and another performer also tested positive, the $12-billion-a-year (£7.2-billion-a-year) US adult film industry has required regular testing by actors.

It's a big deal because they work so hard at preventing it from happening EVER. 22 cases in the last six years.

Now, instead of being so intent on demonizing Kai's girlfriend, maybe you need to wake the fuck up and remember that you are talking about a human being that someone here cares about.

Which means she is not in any way more vulnerable to STD's than the general population, probably far less vulnerable, since she knows her sex health and takes precautions when needed.

You've never been sexually active, and you are starting with a porn star and her crossdressing boyfriend?  Way to set the bar high.

Mine it.

Yeah, we're using normal precautions (condoms, no oral for now). There's no worry /from me/ at least because I've never been sexually active.

Kai doesn't afraid of ANYTHING.

I'm afraid of loosing her, either to the unskillful words I used earlier today that upset her, or to the inevitable point when our locations diverge either due to work or school or want, and we must decided what to do.

I think you'll do fine Kai, if a relationship can't survive a disagreement .. well I think it speaks for itself.

Don't put pressure on yourself bro,

You both work through things and learn about each other - make comprimises, change etc, you don't start out perfect - its journey of discovery.

As Rainy said - Respect and Communication.

If you really did upset her - maybe apologise and take her out somewhere.

Kai, you're not going to lose me just because you put your foot in your mouth once. I'm harder to get rid of than that. Also, if it's meant to be, we will find a way to work out a compromise with the location thing, just don't snap then run away every time I suggest a major change.

Kai and POTF-

Congrats! Do it up, enjoy, and as far as relationships go, honesty is key. Sounds awesome! Go with the flow, don't worry too much about the future. Doing so will get in the way of the present and screw up the future you're worrying about. If the 3 of you are happy, that's what you should strive for.

Relationships are serious, but don't invite the dramallama to take a dump on your floormat.

That is to say, arguments happen, but it's not a good ideat to treat every one of them as life or death situations.

Religously though, now I'm sorta wondering if VD was caused by the origional snub... hummm...  na, greeks were baaaa-nging sheep long before that.

smiles and rainbows?

1 out of 6 people in the USA have herpies, docs think the un-reported cases actually bump that up to 1 in 3, I'd be amazed if there was a porn star who didnt have it. thinking I caught it once scared the living shit outa me, I wish a complete stranger had told me to be a little more careful back then and maybe I wouldent have had to shit bricks for two weeks while waiting for the test results to come back.

Whatever happened to this guy? He was a tool, but.... um... I dunno, I just think we need tools with more balls or something.

~Kai

DOES SHE MAKE YOU HAPPY?  <--- This is the only thing that matters.  Everything else is commentary.  Being happy - actually happy - is the only fucking reason to be on this shitball of a horrorshow, and anything that makes you really happy, you say "FUCK IT" and jump in head first.  DAMN THE TORPEDOES, KAI.  TOMORROW IS THE ENEMY!
