2 people working toward the same end are already working together by default

Lies.

i present the movie "the 5th element" as evidence.

all parties are trying to save teh universe (if i remember correctly)
and they all get into eachother's hair.

But maybe that was necessary to save the universe? I mean IT WAS saved at the end, wasn't it?

However, this piece is great work LHX, thx for reminding me why i come to this page from time to time :)

Like a friend I used to have, this guy will get "the answer" every few months, until his eventual death by gorilla rape.

It wasn't me, i only wear the bunny suits.

I really like your rant, especially the part saying:
Do what the Fuck you want, but be aware of WHY you do it.
There are plenty of people doing stuff and lying to them selves about why they are doing it. And it's always funny to see their reactions if you confront them with the real reasons.

I was suprised by the dream section

Quote
When you dream, your mind asks all kinds of questions that ité─˘s used to asking the senses (whaté─˘s that? Look over there!) but your senses are temporarily turned off (you are, after all, asleep), so they get back sort-of random answers, which you combine into a funny story in your brain called a dream. And then when you try to recount the dream to your boyfriend in the morning, even though it seemed totally, completely realistic, you suddenly realize that you doné─˘t know what happened, actually, so you have to make shit up. If you had stayed asleep for another minute or two your brain would have asked your senses what kind of mammal was swimming with you in the rose bush, and gotten back some retarded, random answer (a platypus!), but you woke up, so until you tried to tell the story, you didné─˘t even realize that you needed to know what was in the rose bushes with you to make the story coherent to your partner. Which it never is. So please doné─˘t tell me about your dreams.

If it's true that your mind creates dreams from random non existing influences than I think about dreams in a whole new light.
Guess I'll have to google that one.

The rants great, although i have to read it a couple of times until i will really understand it.

I'd certainly agree with that, although this seems like the real difference between "Discordian" and "Erisian" subdivides

I've never known there was even a real "discordian" or "erisian" whatever, you might want to call it religion.

The only thing I've ever noticed on all this "discordian"boards that all the guys posting there seems to have in common: They are not satisfied with their worldview. They want to have a look at the things behind they are all scratching the surface.

So when you talk about the diffrence of discordian and erisian ways, is that your own experience, or something commonly agreed on?

Pretty much the same reason I'm not a big fan of driving while drunk.

Well, I can understand that... though, in my experience the two chemicals don't act much the same at all. People drive under the influence of drugs all the time, from Caffeine and Nicotine to Tryptophan to Who Knows What sort of pep pills, anti-depressants, painkillers etc. I think THC is much less of a concern than quite a bit of the legal stuff.

Of course, that's not necessarily true if we're talking about one person sucking down three joints of Hydro Kind Bud, however it may be true for a single joint shared among a few people (as the OP mentioned).

A bullet in the head will kill you with a higher percentage but won't endanger others.

Celine Dion should be immediately removed from consideration solely because of that damned Titanic song.  Also whoever composed the song.

Seing DiCaprio die was worth it.
I was the only one laughing in that scene.
Silly me.
