Got tired of staring at the ceiling, decided to do something productive, instead.

Devil's food cake, chocolate chip chocolate fudge icing...  And there's a layer of dark chocolate chips between the layers of the cake...

Came out pretty damn good.  ;)  Next time, I'm considering layering chocolate pudding between the top and bottom layers, instead of just frosting and chocolate chips.

I can bake with reasonable confidence, but cooking is scarier.  There are some things I'm comfortable doing, but improvising scares me.
