  It was me. I suggested ITT that he stop with the act and get to know people here instead of trying to make them get to know him, and he took it as an invitation to become penpals.

TWJ, JUST A TIP: public forums are not where people come to make private penpals. They are a place where people come to, you know, socialize. Going to a forum and asking people you don't know to tell you all about themselves in private is a little like going to a playground and asking the other kids if they want to come play in your basement.

How on earth do you make friends IRL? Do you go to a bar and ask strangers to come home with you? Or do you make friendly conversation in the bar over a period of time until you know them well enough to call them "friend"?
