What, from the courts perspective, would be a reasonable and legal form of protest against the action that was required of her, clapping for her rapist?

Allowing protest seems to be ingrained in our culture, and is one of the many things that our "right of free speech" is touted for.

Free speech doesn't apply for raped cheerleaders in small east texas towns that love their athletes?  That seems to be the message that is communicated here.

It's like when my daughter got punished for correcting a teacher once and I asked what the accepted protocol for that was supposed to be:
"It's not her place to speak."

So here it is, happening again right in front of us, and not only do the courts fail her the first time, but the school fails her, and then the courts slap her down viciously for daring to speak up about the fucking problem. Because we all know that the only reason all of this rape stuff keeps coming up is because these girls won't SHUT UP AND GO AWAY.

This case is about 2 years old, and I've noticed that whenever there is a high-profile case the feminist interwebs via facebook spit this case out, and it goes viral again. Last time was the Savannah Dietrich case, where 15 year old went public and names and shamed her 2 assailants, and was almost jailed herself for contempt of court. She waived her anonymity rights and was all like "HELL NO!"

I might have to take the day off the internets, for rape culture is doing a number on my rage gland and I seemingly cannot use my words to haetshit it out.
