Well, the thing to remember is that Brother Nihil is a DUMBASS.  And why is he a DUMBASS?  Because he views freedom as external.  He can't be "free" unless other people are subjugated (Blacks, women, etc), because he can only view his "freedom" in terms relative to OTHER PEOPLE.  This is why reactionaries, Nazis, fascists, etc are so fucking stupid...To them, freedom is a zero sum game, and for them to win, someone must lose.

Compare this to Martin Luther King, Jr, who found freedom in a Birmingham jail cell, or Mohammad Ali, who found freedom blaring his contempt at a federal judge and Howard Cosell.  Or Patrick Henry, who shoved his head in a noose, more or less, to tell King George III where to fucking get off.

You're forgetting about another aspect of the universe:
Evolution. Thing is, we're made from atoms, but those atoms and void, but the patterns that our atoms create are different than the dead atoms that make up everything else that is not life. While it is true that the human is instinctually an aggressive and self-serving organism that desires power for easier access to resources and therefore an edge in competition, it is also true that our altruism and cooperation have directly lead to our dominating this planet, or indeed, developing a mode of communication to allow you to expose us to your pseudo-intellectual wankery.

And here's the thing about wankery. It satisfies your reproductive urge, but at the end of the day, you still don't have any offspring.
