LMNO, in principal you were correct, however, Alty's violation of that should have smacked of desperation, and your criticism was ill-timed and ill-phrased. Clearly the dude needs sympathy and compassion right now.

Alty, even though LMNO put his foot in his mouth he meant no harm by it. Your blocking of him is excessive, but understandable. Maybe take a day or two and then try and make him understand your perspective. You are in your right to be angry with him, but again, he's a good dude and also has your best interests at heart.

Fair, but I like both of you, and I hope this gets resolved. Don't know what he said in PM, but I'm pretty sure that he's a good dude. Maybe he's playing Devil's advocate. Again, not excusing it since you clearly need supportive friends right now. Just saying that I'll be neutral in this argument since LMNO is a really awesome friend, and you're a really awesome friend, but you need friends right now. So right now, I'm your friend and hope that you are happy.

Hey, all.  On Friday, I said some things to Alty on FB that were hurtful to him.  I didn't realize at the time how hurtful they were.

I am truly sorry I did that, and I do apologize for being such a dick.

I pulled back from the internet for a while when I realized what had happened. Overly pursuing the matter and obsessing about it too easily causes "Right Man" syndrome in myself, and I didn't want to go there.

Alty reached out to me on FB, and we talked it over.

In conclusion, I was wrong to attack him the way I did.  I'm sorry it went down like that.
