AFAIK them wots does that sort of things lots seem to be under the impression that the vowel-sound-bits of the aum are infinitely preferred to the M-sound-bits; a better approximation would have been a very long line of evolving dipthongs.

Even a megalomaniac such as Ol' Uncle Crowley affirmed that the "M" AUM was merely the stopping point, the cessation of the universe.  It is the "AU" that infolves the creaton and extention of conciousnss.
