Orthodoxy is Unconcious

As an entity the Discordian (bowel?) Movement(tm) is neither Orthodox or Unconcious, right now.  But, it's only a matter of time.  Everything is accepted eventually.  Even our *ahem* precious creative creative disorder will eventually be our enemy.  The pendelum swings, and we are sitting on it being swung.  It seems to me that while the majority sits upon the heavier side of the pendulum, that the Discordian Bowel Movment (tm) is sitting comfortably on the counterweight.  We are just as much to blame for the interplay between order and chaos, creativity and destruction; we are the ying to the greyface yang.  And yet, we do not look plainly into the face of what we (dis)believe.  We make pretenses toward being something else, towards being something above this average herd of humanity we so disdain.  Well, boys and girls, thats nice.  It's great to think that.  But it's bullshit.  Like I said, we are the counterweight of the pendulum, we swing with it like everyone else.  We are led by the great interplay just like everyone else.  When we have convinced everyone else of the error of their ways and we sit upon on thrones like great founders we are, there will be a movement oppisite us.  Do I honestly think that thats what any of you are after?  Of course not.  Not conciously anyway.

I challenge myself every day in the mirror.  I always win, but I lose just as much. Or maybe I just lose on principle of being the loser, but winning.

My reflection wins.  It loses a lot, too.  I haven't decided.
