Please cease the double standards in your media, it sickens me.  If I were to replace every instance of the word black with the word white in this article, the majority of people reading it would consider the people gathered to be Neo-Nazis or some other form of racist.  If you want to achieve equality, you have to stop setting yourself apart from the rest of us and recognise that we are all your brothers(or Fathers, in my case).  Once you realise this we will be able to achieve Great Justice by working together.  Until then, you are merely driving us further apart.

And Kill Me.

Editor's note:  I was literally a child when I wrote this, and your reactions were correct!  I grew up with a lot of racists around me, sorry!  I'm better now.

I have been battered by a black man before.  Well, a black kid.  In 8th grade this big bully type punk kicked ice water on me repeatedly, so I hit him with a roundhouse kick to his ribs(cracked one) and he punched me in the head.  I saw stars but kept my feet, the other kid was a foot or so taller than me at that point so I didn't want any more, he had to go see the nurse anyway.

WASHINGTON ,Äî White Americans thronged the National Mall yesterday in an assemblage of mutual affirmation, demanding more of their nation and of themselves.

"It's nothing but white folks in love with each other from one end to the other," John Smith, national spokesman for the Protestant Church, gazing out from the podium on a perfect Indian-summer day following a week of rainy weather.

The Mall was not as thick with people or moment as the Million Man March, whose 10th anniversary this gathering commemorated. That march, the largest public coming together of Anglo  Americans in the nation's history, stunned America with its sheer size and its air of bliss.

But yesterday's crowd was ample enough to stretch, if loosely, the length and breadth of the Mall, giving the gathering the grandeur and scope of a successful occasion. Organized mostly below the radar of the national media, and with far smaller expectations, the event achieved the formidable goal of not being a letdown to those who made the trek.

Proceeding with little of the advance controversy of 10 years ago ,Äî mostly over the leadership of Protestant Church Minister Frank Whitman, the main convener this time as last ,Äî the Millions More Movement also succeeded in presenting a more complete portrait of white America, and its leadership, in a united front.

"We have seen an unprecedented gathering of the leaders of white America coming together to speak with one voice," Whitman declared. "The whole spectrum of white thought was represented on this stage ... . This tells us that a new day is dawning in America."

"If there is a million, or less, or more, the meaning of this day will be determined by what we do tomorrow to create a movement, a real movement among our people."

The agenda was broad, ranging from reparations for slavery to the creation of a national white board of education, white control of the businesses that serve the white community and the creation of an independent white political movement.



Sounds like the current Status Quo, if you ask me.
