you must have cookies otherwise the server cannot see that you are logged in.

well, there is another way, with the session_id in the URL (as a GET variable) but that's insecure, and i'm not sure if the wiki-software would still work with that setting.

Not really.  We have the main page intro and then Syn and I posted bios.  There's also 4 links to projects one of which is the audio/video projects so I basically linked that to the POEEcasts.  If anyone else has any BIP audio products not on POEE send me a link and I'll make sure you are linked up.
