If anything I beleive my slight existing celebrity was usefull in garnering support in this matter in the form of high profile character wittnesses and finances.

This little gem is AKK defending his name change by deed poll. I don't know what 'slight existing celebrity' is, but I'm pretty sure I don't want any.

Apparently, he 'beleive'd that it's 'usefull'.

000 - were you being sarcastic or did you think there might just have been a little glimmer of hope?

which begs the question...

So many questions, so much spaggotry, so little time.

why would you change your name to something that basically locks you into being a D&D nerd with a wannabe-revolutionary complex FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

To be 'outlandish'?

do you have any idea how fucking stupid you're going to look when you're sitting at the nursing home waiting for them to call out "Ambassador KLOK KAOS, please come get your blood pressure pills"?

Ahh....the coup de grace! But the answer is, of course, NO. If he had any idea how stupid this was, he wouldn't have paid $350 for the privilege or bragged about it here.

He actually legally changed his name to that???

:lulz:

Yes, he did. Because the AKK thread is too painful to do in one sitting, I'm limiting myself to 3 pages a day.

Actually, I think according to Roger, he did not change his name.

Which makes it even sadder, that he told us he did in order to impress us.

On the flip side, it would be rather interesting to change your name to something obscene and then not change it back. Just to watch people try to skirt around the name.

Not that I'll do it, but it's an interesting idea.

NB: I haven't read this thread (I'm not sure which one it is).
