It's an attempt to salve some "affronted" feelings vis a vis little piggies.  :lol:  Reminds me of the year Virgin airlines refused to allow non-Muslim employees to put pigs anywhere in the workplace, for fear of offending the Muslim workers.  LAEM

Just found a very interesting article published in April last year. It tells of the H1N1 flu picking up steam and evolving (in the U.S and Austria no less) into a potential pandemic candidate.

I guess this particular flu has a couple of different strains, so when my husband read the CDC warning in his email the other day, he panicked slightly but then read which strain it was and relaxed, saying, "Aw, it's the wrong one to make a big deal over!"

So there you have it.
