TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Can't get the review for Spelunky, but I can get you a forum thread with 150+ pages since December. Iji and World of Goo coming up.

And the Spelunky thread.

And yeah, if you haven't played Derek Yu's other games (Aquaria, Eternal Daughter) you owe it to yourself to do so.

NOW. I'm not even joking. Best freeware platforming shmup ever IMO.

This is fun. It's kind of like a slow-paced System Shock-ish Contra or something. It actually reminds me of an old C64 game that I forgot the name of.

Shibboleet The Annihilator

Bumped simply because this is a cool thread. Thank you for being awesome Cram.

Is there only that one way to beat it ?

Cramulus

I think so, but I've only beaten it once. That author's other games have multiple endings though so there could be some variance tucked in there.

Learn to Fly:  http://www.maxgames.com/play/learn-to-fly.html

You are a penguin. Here's a hang glider and a rocket. Learn to fly fast, noob!

I can usually beat it before I reach Day 30.
You cannot fathom the immensity of the fuck i do not give.

somehow, launching a penguin is incredibly therapeutic.

I've made it all the way up up to the last achievement. "Reach 6000 feets"?

BabylonHoruv

www.secretsocietywars.com

it's a multiplayer strategy game (I know it doesn't seem like on, trust me, it is) where the universe is ruled by emperor Norton.

Currently in post-win, pre reset period, so now is the perfect time to get a handle on the game and get ready for the competition again, which should start in about a week.

I'm BabylonHoruv on there too, so anyone wanting to play who needs help send me a message there or here.  You need Gmail to register, or else server mail, but it is free.
You're a special case, Babylon.  You are offensive even when you don't post.

Merely by being alive, you make everyone just a little more miserable

Cyber Recession Warrior: Edgar
http://www.kongregate.com/games/NetworkOfNinja/cyber-recession-warrior-edgar

"With limited story, Edgar throws you directly into the action of an endless procedurally generated dungeon crawler. With a "Diablo"-style loot system and an AP driven strategic-combat system (a la Fallout), the game attempts to recreate an experience thus far non-existant in flash gaming."

How much fun can shooting boxes in a ugly virtual dungeon be..? Yeah, this is what i've been doing mostly for the last couple of days.

Gravity Bone.

Google it. Play it. I don't care if your computer is a turd or if you hate FPS games. This game is beyond amazing. Get it, and have the most awesome half-hour of your life.
