Obama is a politician, he is a Liberal, and he may very well have socialistic leanings, but he is a capitalistic, power grubbing politician to be certain.  Anything he says is to get the sheep to vote for him and has no basis in what he actually believes that he can do.  No politician would be better at it, some could have been worse.  I just keep watching as civilization slides inexorably toward collapse and continue to hope that the asteroid/comet/solar flare would just happen so that it can all be said and done with.
