Oh god, I saw that movie, The Watchmen, with a friend, and when we saw that naked blue guy we started to freak out. I eventually got bored. The only really good part of the movie was the prison scene.

:argh!:
I happened to LOVE ALL of watchmen, thank you very much. The prison scene was cool, but the scene just before that with Rorschach fights those officers was epic too.

Anyway, it's not *supposed* to be an action flick you hairless philistine.

that movie was TERRIBLE. And I didn't even care that they changed the ending (I understand why they did what they did for the purposes of making a movie), I just didn't understand how someone could take a graphic novel FILLED with dramatic tension and utterly FAIL to translate ANY of it to film. It was like watching stereo instructions.

"If I could catch a rainbow
I would do it just for you
And share with you its beauty
On the days you are are feeling blue
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea
But all these things I am finding
Are impossible for me
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair
But let me be what I know best
A friend that's always there"

It's a poem my friend Caitlin gave me for my b-day last year.

The only problem is, that I don't know if it'll be on regular TV, or that weird HD box of magic we have hooked up to our TV...

Look, asshole:  Your 'incomprehensible' act, your word-salad, your pinealism...It BORES ME.  I've been incomprehensible for so long, I TEACH IT TO MBA CANDIDATES.  So if you simply MUST talk about your pineal gland or happy children dancing in the wildflowers, go talk to Roger, because he digs that kind of shit

I'm hiding in here until the hatestorm dies down... Also, I still love this forum.  :D

They aren't new episodes right? Just re-airing?

Also, haven't the episodes always been available on boomerang?

I honestly don't know, seeing as how i've had the series dvd's since they released em.
We appear to be doomed by our DNA to repeat the same destructive behaviors our forebears have repeated for millenia. If anything our problem solving skills have actually diminished with the advent of technology & our ubiquitous modern conveniences. & yet despite our predisposition towards fear-driven hostility; towards what we anachronistically term primitive behavior another instinct is just as firmly encoded in our make-up. We are capable as our ancestors were of incredible breathtaking acts of kindness. Every hour of every day a man risks his life at a moments notice to save another. Forget for a moment the belligerent benevolent billionaires who grant the unfortunate a crumb of costfree cake. I speak of pure acts of selflessness. A Mother who rushes into the street to save a child from a speeding vehicle. A person who runs into a burning building to reach a family trapped on the upper story. Such actions, such moments, such unconscious selfless decisions, define what it is to be human

Jasper

I'd be shocked if it was anything but a re-airing.

I luv Nigel, and I luv Roger, and I luv Nivek, and Freeky and this forum, with or without drama.
You're a special case, Babylon.  You are offensive even when you don't post.
