Because every single one I've encountered is a pretentious douchebag whose entire belief system, regardless of what they think they actually believe, is based entirely on acting snide and superior?

Because whatever it purports to be, or thinks of itself as, it's a thin veneer of edginess to hide a fragile ego that gets off on a sense of being different and cooler than everyone else in some offbeat way?

When it comes to whom I'd rather spend my time talking to and whom I'd associate it with, I don't need a logically sound argument. After a half dozen times of being disappointed by the people who stick themselves with that label, why bother anymore? I'll revert to default Discordian mode (ceaseless mockery) until one of them surprises me.
