To stick up for RWHN, I think his original point was: "You guys are really bringing me down with all the hate and stuff."

Not just in this thead, but that's where he posted it.  I could see that he was feeling down, tired, new-father-exhausted.  He came here to brighten his day, and only saw negativity.

Now, I realize that there are threads that aren't negative... Yesterday, we had three separate pun threads going on.  But you know what it's like when you're feeling down.  You tend to notice the negative stuff.

Now, people have been making swipes at him, and I suppose he could simply walk away and "not click" the entire forum.  But I like his presence here, and hope he doesn't.

Thanks.  I just think PED is getting more abuse than she deserves.  I mean, sure, have the argument with her about the general statements she made at the beginning.  Hell, I contributed to that.  But there are some large leaps being made, IMO, to label her a Nazi and racist, and I just think that is uncool, and quite frankly, beneath us as a collective.  

Now, with a guy like Uncle BadTouch, there was some substantial evidence that he had opinions on sex and minors that were, well, pretty creepy.  And he wouldn't come straight out and disavow any of it.  PED has straight out denied being a racist, she admitted she didn't know what Nigel's race was, and I think some people are Law of 5ing a couple of her photos to justify their beliefs.  I just think it has gone beyond where it needed to go and I feel like someone has to point it out.
