Picked up M.I.A.'s new album today, /\/\ /\ Y /\ or whatever it's called.  It's fucking torturous, noisy, incoherent, and pretty obnoxious.  Waste of money, I think I'm going to just sell it back used and pick up the Dangermouse/Sparklehorse collaboration with the pretty David Lynch photos.

I, for one, am loving The Incident, Porcupine Tree's newest album. Great stuff, and I'm not even that big a fan of alt rock. For me, it has to be really good. Being really brutal metal only partially makes up for it in that I can extract lulz from it.

I listened through that, and yeah, it's much much harsher than her previous work. Probably not going to buy it.
