we do have that one in our PosterGASM collections, but I'm not 100% sure if the idea originated here, or we copied it from somewhere else on account of being awesome.

More importantly, didn't Iptuous or somebody design a paperclip+rubberband system that would go "BRZZZZZT!" if someone actually did remove the paper?

I've never been able to find the design for that thingamaboob again. Someone repost!

Yeah, that was me.
and yeah, it's like the rattlesnake eggs thing.
i looked on my machine, but couldn't find the pictures that i had of it.
it did work fairly well after screwing with it for a bit. and finding the right washer weight/size.  i think i had to print it on some cardstock paper, too, IIRC...
