Randian infighting

Turns out there is at least one Randian who thinks the Ayn Rand Institute is full of shit, cultish behaviour and the worst kind of state authoritarianism and has decided to take them on.

And they have a sense of humour (which is the only reason I would ever bring an ideological pissing match to your attention, since most are not very interesting, very funny or have very real impacts on actual politics).

OK, they're still a Randian, and so they believe, in their own words:

The best of the Ancient Greeks, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, purged of their errors and contradictions – that's one way to describe Ayn Rand's philosophy. Ayn Rand justified human freedom and dignity with a consistency and eloquence as had no one before.

But at the same time, I can forgive a lot of anyone who takes the time to document the utter insanity of the ARI with well sourced citations and hasn't been driven mad by the experience.

Interesting.  Randian or not he really seems to understand what he's talking about (at least when he isn't quoting Rand).  Most people who mouth off the same criticisms don't seem to actually have any idea what they're talking about.
