According to a Benjamin A. Cardozo Law Review study done in the 1980s, it was concluded that the majority of child porn being distributed was by the police. The internet may have changed that...but I somehow doubt it, especially with the evidence gathered in "Operation Ore" and the like...it takes a dirty cop with a flash drive a few minutes to copy said evidence, and with the competition in jail he can make a very quick buck, plus blackmail his clients if he finds out their identity.  Very lucrative.

Ok, now I'm curious if anyone has actually read this book.  The whole thing could be a tasteless joke/object lesson/sociological experiement/political landmine. 

I mean, I could self-publish a book and put it on Amazon called, "Making love to your kittens: a how-to guide for at-home beastiality" with little to no content, and it would probably stir up a shitstorm from the title alone.

I'm not saying I approve, but I'm curious if anyone has gone deeper into what's going on here.

As I understood it (and correct me if I'm wrong on this) racism and homophobia are not covered under free speech by way of some "incitement to badwrong hatecrime" or some bullshit. That has been whirling in the back of my brain since I read this and I just can't write what I really wanted to say.  I can't find the reference but I am almost positive it was something in Texas and the death of some kid there...
