I should clarify, the scabs who might get charged were 8 people who've been here for the last month going door to door. None of the people flying home to vote are.

Yes, 50k people left since 2007 because of the economic crises a lot are flying back, and there are loads of duel nationality who live abroad who are eligible to vote if they lived here in the last few years.

That has actually been really funny, we have staunch anti abortion die hards in this country, and even they were out for blood when they found out foreign money was behind posters and foreign canvassers were coming in. It triggers the "800 years" reflex nationalism that at this point has become genetic.

There's talk of charging them on filing for a holiday visa under false pretenses, they may all end up with a criminal charge.
Okay, now that's just lovely.

Part of it is that fear that's there since Russia/Cambridge Analytics/Facebook meddling with elections theres bean a reactionary fear to any money coming in from overseas to push an agenda, the anti-abortion side have been propped up by the US, but the same reaction would be there for any nation trying it. There were also semi-professional anti abortion canvassers flown in, they are the ones who might get charged, I don't agree with charging them with a crime, but I also don't agree with paid scabs being flown in.

I'm sure the pro-choice side were doing the same thing but they were either better at hiding it, or didnt get funded as much.

We're having the referendum on abortion today. We have a clause in our constitution saying Mother and child have equal rights to life. This blocked abortion completely in Ireland, and had a side effect that a woman has to literally be approaching death before doctors will intervene to end a pregnancy (they let a woman get septicemia rather then perform the abortion to save her life and she died which sort of triggered today's vote).
I've voted yes to remove this clause, because I trust women to know when they need an abortion (for whatever reason, not just health). But I suspect this is probably the last time they could call this referendum and have a high chance it wont go through.

Petal dear, are you calling me a soy boy?

Ok, well maybe he didn't write it on the John?

I guess thats a step up from announcing it from twitter while on the throne.

Also, complaints of mold odor by the ladies that work at our service desk.  These ladies are saints, who deal with entitled old fucks 24/7 and somehow maintain their composure.

Mold tests in that area match the same level as the rest of the building and outdoors, but the smell is only there.  The HVAC system is not compromised.  There are no dead rodents in the area.  The ladies themselves do not smell bad.

This can only be the result of black magic.

Hmmm..... Could something come in that has mold on it? Maybe the cleaners mop? Actually don't tell me, I don't know why I want to suck the mystery out of the universe.

That pressure balance is just fine... for where that room is going.

What scares me the most about that is that it can achieved by as little as one Russian operative, and would likely be an unshakable success if it was like 3 of them with a few leaked emails monologuing their evil plan

I saw this and it got my goat though I am fairly certain it's trolling.

I know this is some deluded alternate reality the author is living and there are very few people would think the same. I decided to take him literally and respond to what the Republic would require to "Come home", sent this on but the comments aren't showing.

A modest proposal: here is what I as a citizen of the Republic of Ireland would require to consider the unification of the two nations

Immediate dismantling and renunciation of the monarchy, this concept is outdated and holds connections to Britainís colonial past. In a democratic society a monarchy cannot exist, the same goes for all nobility and the House of Lords, even in a ceremonial form they are a symbol of what the world should now have overcome, not something to be proud of.

Immediate nuclear disarmament, withdrawal of all troops and cessation of any acts of war, the UK would require a stance of neutrality in all conflicts. A good will gesture to this could be to dismantle the British army.

Proportional representation, a constitution of the state that must be changed by referendum and the four freedoms of Europe, free travel and right to work, to be honest without membership of the EU the UK doesnít look very attractive.

Reparations for all colonial atrocities, as well as returning all plundered museum pieces to their rightful countries.

A clean energy policy and a shutdown of all nuclear power plants.

Elimination of the term Britain or the United Kingdom, instead we should find a name for our new shared cultural identity that people donít associate with imperialism.

Have they ever dismissed anyone else for theft, because if you wanted to twist the knife after the dust settles, informing that person that one set of rules was used for them and not for someone else means they would also have a case.

So, my solictor and I have drafted a letter of grievance over the whole break-in incident.

Fun starts on Monday. Solicitor thinks I could angle for constructive dismissal, but he recommends it as a final option, due to the way work tribunals are these days (lol tories).

The police have also been informed, so that's adding some pressure into the mix.  It will take a while to build, but I'm looking forward to the police dropping by the main offices to pick up the papers on the disciplinary process.

Best of luck Cain, if they have a standard HR doc with the template "Any action criminal or otherwise that brings the company into disrepute" they wont have a leg to stand on.

Couldn't resist.  You are such hypocritical bitches.  Gossip is not art. Exploitation is not discordian.  Gossip is not discordian.  Everybody share pics of bits an pieces with tea!
(You'll get it when you're older)

This annoys me:
I only ever installed tapatalk because 50% of the site now access the forum through smartphones and tablets, I don't use it so I didn't realise they stick ads in. If I can find an alternative without that shit on it I will use it.
