TESTEMONAIL:  Right and Discordianism allows room for personal interpretation. You have your theories and I have mine. Unlike Christianity, Discordia allows room for ideas and opinions, and mine is well-informed and based on ancient philosophy and theology, so, my neo-Discordian friends, open your minds to my interpretation and I will open my mind to yours. That's fair enough, right? Just claiming to be discordian should mean that your mind is open and willing to learn and share ideas. You guys are fucking bashing me and your laughing at my theologies and my friends know what's up and are laughing at you and honestly this is my last shot at putting a label on my belief structure and your making me lose all hope of ever finding a ideological group I can relate to because you don't even know what the fuck I'm talking about and everything I have said is based on the founding principals of real Discordianism. Expand your mind.

Basically, if you continue to be rude and act like a dick and deliberately derail other people's threads, no one will like you because they will perceive you as a rude dick and a thread-derailer.

Why do you think that would be?

Do you also act like this in person, with your friends?

How about at work?
"I'm guessing it was January 2007, a meeting in Bethesda, we got a bag of bees and just started smashing them on the desk," Charles Wick said. "It was very complicated."

for a minute I thought you actually had something intelligent to say.

and then I got to THIS:

Quote from: Novatore...which in turn heeps large scale genocide on animals.

:lulz:

Most people don't care, but there is something mildly fucked up when you consider that approximately 856 million cows are slaughtered every eight months. And that's not including other animals which are slaughtered or the massive decimation of species due to the widespread expansion of humans which has largely been facilitated by car culture.

guess genocide is funny didn't know....

Who cares?  They're only cows.

I think you need to revisit the definition of "genocide".

The purpose of the cattle industry is not to wipe out all cows from the face of the earth.  That would be bad for business.

Equally, the aim of Nazi Germany was not to grow Jews in clean, green fields for milking and consumption by the German population.

Well, it's an interesting mental picture, at least.

M'kay, picture this.
You live in Florida. It's currently 94F with humidity at 60%. That means your sweat won't dry. And you will sweat. Everything you need to get to (like work or a store for groceries whatever) is between 6 and 15 miles away.
You gonna walk?
You wanna go to work and sit in an office full of people smelling like a goat?

A city block here is about 5 NY city blocks. We have shit for public transportation and heat stroke is no fucking joke.
Many here have no choice. We have to drive. As much as I may not want to cause my car IS, in fact, a gas guzzling piece of shit, I have to.
I do complain about getting fat, I do drive to the Starbucks drive through every day for my grande iced coffee with cinnamon dolce syrup and a splash of half and half and I do hate that I have to drive there. But I do it anyway.
I don't live in a place where walking everywhere is an option.
Sure wish I did.

Also the idea of "Set them free so they will naturally migrate to where they are needed most" didnt exactly work as planned.
