RAYMOND DART: The Australopithecines particularly liked the lower jaws of animals that had long canine teeth, because these could be used as formidable weapons. And you can see how, with a weapon like this, they could gouge out the eyes of any animal, and even this primitive hyena jaw could rip up a belly.

Have you eve rseen that video?  Like 80 year old, frail man, talking about the Killer Ape theory, holding this little hyena jaw, and when he says 'Rip up a belly' he lunges towards the camera like he's a 12 year old on crack.

I remember shortly after I moved here Angelique and Christian were having a conversation on the osteodentokeratic theory and how silly it was in hindsight and I just started madly giggling and jumped up, scrunched up a hand an shouted, "RIPPING UP THE BELLY!"  as loud as I could while making that classic hand motion.
