You could always just try, I don't know, reading the thread?  If that's not too much of a challenge, sweetheart.  I wouldn't want you to strain yourself over reading 10 pages or anything.

I'm pretty sure you said Knight of swords.  Knights and Princes are different.

There might be some confusion as different people use and have learned different decks. Admittedly, I've mainly used the Thoth deck.

We should all try and use the same terminology so it doesn't get all fucked up. So:
-King
-Queen
-Knight
-Page

No prince or princesses. I know I contributed to the confusion, but hopefully we can all keep from
getting out of hand.  

I'd love it if the finished deck was actually usable, which would mean sticking with common (ryder-waite) terminology, and retaining the suits, or at least maintaining a consistency within the suits, rather than replacing them with whimsical and arbitrary suits. For instance, if we're going to have a Queen of Sparkly Pink Shit, then the ENTIRE SUIT of Cups should be renamed Sparkly Pink Shit.

Sure. That makes sense. But for the purpose of our deck here, our finished product we should agree to a single set of names.

And Cain did call the knight of swords.

In the Thoth deck (as I know you already know since you have one) Knight is the equivalent of King, that's why I didin't consider Knight and prince to be equivalent.

thats PAGE/SQUIRREL JACK/KNIGHT/HORSEMEN QUEEN/ERIS KING/ELVIS ACE/BACON

i wanted 5 face cards, i think princess and prince are just queen and jack but who knows...

also thought about the symbol being the one people remember from poker, but im not sure how they line up 100%
club=sticks
spade=sword?
diamond=coins?
hearts=cups?
then the discordia suit being just a black or red 5

You got the match to regular playing cards right.  The most commonly used court (face) cards are

Rider-Waite:

King
Queen
Knight
Page

And Thoth:

Knight
Queen
Prince
Princess

Also the Trumps, although ordered, are not a suit in the way the four suits are, no court cards, and there are a lot more than 10 of them.  They also don't need pips (the suit indicators, so, for instance the four of swords has four swords on the card) the way the minor arcana cards do.

ill update the first page with a list of names, we can agree to have one two, or maybe three suit fnord, keep a normal name scheme
but not all 4 of them...
the ddeck would of course make up most of the fifth fnord, and more then one fool, YES?
which is why i included the ace/bacon which might be where they are placed.

uh i was thinking a fifth suit fnord would still be a minor one... ace 2-10 page jack queen king 5x14=70
with a major trump deck being off the minor one in a much smaller degree then usual. 22+23 ddeck's+whatever we create 22+23=55/color]

So I'm downloading some Tarot decks, right, and one of the files is called Deva Tarot (extra suit). Maybe the fifth suit, if there ends up being one, should be The Suit of Do Nevar Test?
