Yeah I wasn't joking about that, I want to name my (possible, in the distant-future) kid after that guy, and you totally should as well.

I think my girlfriend would be on-board, too if I proposed it, she's learning/speaks Greek. I think we would argue over the pronunciation though. To me he would be "va-SILL-iss", with an American accent, and to her he would be "vass-e-leesse" with a French accent.

I don't plan on living in an English speaking country any time soon, I tried to think of things it sounds like in French, but the closest thing is "smooth vassal", which is already far-fetched.
