Thanks.  Problem:  I'm waiting on news from the tests I just went through, to see if I have MS.  Due to a screw up at the lab, I'm going to be waiting a little longer.  As you can imagine, this is wearing on my nerves just a bit.  Also, I have to be in a certain place in my head to do any writing, and watching a lot of the people I respect cheering Vex's revenge thread on has knocked me out of that place.

So I'll be around, but I won't be getting any writing done, as the combination of learning that a few people I really liked seem to despise me and the nerve-wracking wait for incompetent lab techs to read a fucking MRI has knocked the shit out of me.  It isn't Vex, of course, I always knew he hated me and everything I stand for...It's the people lining up to tell him what a genius he is for proving that I'm not an actual Discordian.

It's just that, with the exception of Hoops, everyone who saw that thread had also posted in the thread in which he stated that a Subgenius' thinking/opinion has no merit whatsoever.  And so the new post was called the best thing ever, referred to blogs, etc.

Then he flat out stated, "FFS, it's only Roger", which seemed to explain everything for everyone.

But, as I say, I'm not viewing you as an enemy.  I'm just quite upset over the fact that several people I really liked and admired seem to despise me.

In my position, how would you feel, given the above?

A headache's been squatting on my head all morning despite caffeine, water, and painkillers.  Like some sort of malicious troll it's making me too serious and grumpy.  I think I'm going to call a person yet to be determined during my lunch, and leave a message ranting about one of Squid's owl pictures.  

It's either "Keep your Owl in the Bucket", or "Wash that fucking Owl"

I think you may be leaping pole vaulting to conclusions, Roger.

I don't even think Vex despises you, and I can't fathom how his Subgenius comment was meant to be taken seriously.
