I think killing the open bar was a mistake.

I don't think it was a mistake. There are already 40 new topics and nearly 1000 new posts in January. The time frame that people post in may have changed. Even then, post count can't be used as a barometer for content, which is what really matters. There has also been a resurgence of creativity over the past week.

Maybe it's just my bad attitude.

You do not have a bad attitude.  You are known and noted for the sunflowers that keep sprouting from your asscrack.

There have been 40 topics made in 4 days, that corresponds exactly to any other month, it's actually higher then other quiet months.
800 posts in 4 days is down but accounts almost exactly for the amount of posts in open bar each month.

Hm.

Maybe it's just that there's been no

Semaj (Worried about the boy.  He hasn't even stopped in for 6 months)
Remmy

Etc.

I haven't seen the last two in as long as I can remember, and the first two since before Christmas. We need to get out and meet new people.

That would be nice, but I'd still like the others back.

I'm going to snail-mail Semaj, see if he's okay.  Given that he lives in a state that had a depressed economy BEFORE 2007, this is not a foregone conclusion.

Oooh yeah.

And *shrug* I think I've been more active than I have in a while.

Yeah, I don't think killing Open Bar has anything to do with it.  And there has been interesting stuff, just a lot less fluff.  I mean, the fluff is still popping up here and there in Apple Talk, it's just spread out into multiple threads now.  But as I've said before, life gets in the way of posting.  But it doesn't mean the Discordia is stopping.

I still have Samurai Obama saved.

We could do that.
