All you can say in this site's defence is that it, rather than reality, occupies the warped minds of some of the planet's most twisted people; gods know what they would get up to if it wasn't here.  In these arguably insane times, any lessening or attenuation of madness is maybe something to be thankful for.

Anyway, I got him good & pissed off by making fun of ICP, then unfriended him.

:lulz:

Oh, beautiful!  :lulz:

Oh, yeah.  Also, he was trying to act superior while at the same time talking about his last two meals being a single bottle of hot sauce.  For some reason he's hitching through Texas, which should be good for a laugh.

Of course, I could say the same of E.O.T., only for entirely different reasons.

I lived in Texas for three years.  The notion of a cat-tattooed, whisker-implanted freak getting picked up by the cops in, say, Bell County boggles the very imagination, and mercifully fades to black.

Let me just say that I visited Texas in 1994 at the tender age of 23, and a combination of factors among which that I was a colored girl with a tattoo and a nose ring, made me feel a little worried.

Maybe it's just because they're FUCKING STUPID.

Were you out in the country?  'Cause in the cities, we've got plenty of counterculture crazy to comfort your quirks.
just like any place.  hell, there's plenty in the suburbs, too, which covers a decent percentage of the state...
i would say that if you were in the country in any state, you ought to expect raised eyebrows if you're walkin' 'round with your freak flag high.
I know that many people in other parts of the world completely buy into the Texas™ Brand that we all ride horses to our work, pack a wheel gun on each hip, and that it is mandatory to have a belt buckle larger than your hubcaps.  But here in the states?  do you guys really buy it, or is it just a funny?   :?

I lived there, so no.  I lived in Bell County, and got around a bit.

Most Texans I've met outside of Austin and the D/FW area are the brainsmashed products of inbreeding and fetal-alcohol syndrome, though there have been some exceptions.  The only cowboy types I ever met (in Texas) were in Amarillo.  I almost never saw the belt buckle, and most of the yahoos I met were too poor to afford cowboy boots.

They were basically the trailer-park grunts you usually meet in the Southeast.  They spent all their money on booze and then blamed the Blacks for their resulting poverty.  They hate anyone who isn't like them, and they're - for the most part - complete fucking pussies when anyone faces them down.

Austin, though, well it's like a piece of Canada broke off from one of the nicer provinces, and got stuck in the middle of Texas.  Canada doesn't really want it back because it's got Texas stains on it, but it's a really nice city other than the fact that traffic signals are apparently optional for EVERYBODY and not just ME.

D/FW is one of the better American cities, IMO.  It's got its problems, like all cities do, but there's no end of things to do, and they actually have something resembling an adequate traffic infrastructure.  Also, the people there frequently know how to read and write, like Austin.

Houston is hell for people that were too rotten for Tucson, but not evil enough for Phoenix.
