You are the candiest person.
I hate you, P3nT. So much.
I can't beat ANYTHING except camels and rats. :(
A few small tips:
Octopus King Crown with Jaspers > Octopus King Crown with Obsidian (Obsidian can make some quests unwinnable)
Pink Enchanted Gloves > Red Enchanted Gloves (but both have their uses)
I was getting 1000 lollis a second at my farm and I had THE BOX THAT MIGHT EVEN BE THE BOX WITH ALL thE CANDIES IN THE WORLD. And I SAVED the game, only it didn't save for some reason.
So FUCK. Or maybe it's for the best...if I don't go back, which I probably will.
I'm trying to get that goddamned sponge.

Agreed. Equipping the Crown with Jaspers, Enchanted Monkey Wizard Staff, and pink gloves changed the forest from impossible to win to impossible to lose.
Just got the shell powder, red shark fin, and green shark fin.

You have to speak to the dragon first.
I've just started my own teapot adventure. Luckily, I'm also in the midst of a horde all the candies and lollipops saving up phase too, so I'm not bothered by the length of time it takes.

The teapot is in the desert fortress. It is visible on your map. To get the key to the desert fortress you need to fall down the hole and get the treasure chest. I think it is the one behind the lost tribe warriors.
I only failed to get 1, how do you get the one down the too tight passage?
I beat it.

There is an ability called squeeze you get from a sponge in the sea, it makes you small enough to fit in tight places.

I did. I used the octopus king's crown with obsidian, no weapon, and cast obsidian wall as soon as I came in. I let the octopus kings build up so he had to fight through an army of them to get to me. Eventually one dropped behind him and woke him up, and I started casting black demons.

In the ocean, I got past the fish, jellyfish, and seahorses then I was attacked by sharks and eventually a sea serpent. After surviving their merciless onslaught for a while, a shark with a red fin attacked (which gives you the red shark fin when killed). After that, the green finned shark came. I have no idea how I got the shell powder, to be honest. I just had it when I finished the level.
The shell powder and the green shark fin increase lollipop production. I can't remember which does which, but one multiplies it by three and the other multiplies it by five. So in the end I was popping out 1500 lollipops per second.
The red shark fin increases the damage of fireballs.
I QUIT.

You get the shell powder from a clam or something that is on the seabed when you are fighting the sharks. You probably killed it with random fireballs or something.

If you're able to beat the developer, I highly recommend doing so wearing the candy merchants hat. It solves pretty much everything.
You can throw a whole mess of Lolligators into the pond to generate pretty much any number of lollipops you ever need by beating the developer over and over again.

****A DARK ROOM SPOILERS****
It's great, isn't it? I played through it again after that first round so I could explore the whole map. Once you find a few of the cities and battle sites you don't miss much by riding the ship.
I just loved how the game starts out with you and a pile of wood and just builds up from there. After you encounter your first scaly murderous terror in the wilds you start to think that maybe it isn't as simple as starting a primitive village. Then you hit abandoned suburbs and hospitals, abandoned cities and snipers attack you from tall grass. Armed and masked men are raiding your town.
When it's all over, I had this idea that yeah, I was doing alright by my village and helping the wanderers, but I was also barging into people's homes and murdering them, stealing their valuables and taking over their resources. I was a fucking monster and I didn't even know it until the end.

I suspect a lot of you would enjoy this. Some of you far too much.

I watched the trailer on Steam and it definitely caught my attention. Do you know if it's any good?

It is quite good. And humorous.
I finished Candy Box. I'm trying to resist playing A Dark Room because finals are next week.

I love the way the world of A Dark Room unfolds as you dive into it. It actually tells a creepy little story.
I recommend hitting the little "lights off" option in the lower right, also. It adds atmosphere.
Dude. I found the wreckage last night. And then realized something. I'm not who I thought I was. Mind. Blown.
No! Damnit! Gah! I didn't want to beat the game! :P There was still so much to explore! So many more things to blow up! Gah!

**** MORE SPOILER TYPE THINGS ****
Yeah, I was wondering why there wasn't a "feed the gaunt old man" option. Instead you just beat him to death. And the stuff with all the giant lizard things leaving scales everywhere. I was also really puzzled by the youth in the city poking me with a tree branch, especially since I usually found a rifle or a steel sword on him, once I looted the body. And why I couldn't read any of the writing I found. All the little odd things that didn't make sense . . . it's because . . . because I was one of
them.

I'll second that. It's pretty good. Long-ish review thing with tons of spoilers, gives the overall gist in 20 mins and still leaves enough out to make it worth playing.

Honestly, a few of the narrators comments caused actual laughter. And thought. It's worth a look.
