I went to the hospital today.  They gave me the kind of treatment I'd have to pay £200 for in a Soho nightclub, then gave me a pack of pills and a certificate to say I'm not dying.

Which is nice.

So, today I went from back spasms to incoherent raging pain.

Spent the day at the hospital again.  I was hoping for kidney stones, really.

But it's some degenerative spine thing.  Muscle relaxers will kill the pain for a random number of years, and then nothing at all will work.

But I can do pain.
