My boss is being a complete cunt and tried to get me to sign a document saying that I won't sue em if they terminate my contract. I'm undergoing psychiactric assessment and signing that may be as good as signing away any benefits and also being detatched from reality and under duress that price of paper would be invalid anyway. Also they are obstructing the process by which I get my benefits and rent paid so today I wrote another of my politely shitty letters explaing to the dept of work and pensions which I am keeping in triplicate (my mum is an ex civil servant ) to hand in with the form they were
supposed to give me today tommorow which explains everything to them as to why it has taken this long.  To get it thee if at all and tommorow I am going to call the inland revenue and see if my taxes have been properly paid and to fuck the guy over with what I know so far.

So I have massive tension headache and my plan for tomorrow to get my old net connection fixed is fucked.   

Wow, it seems like even ASKING you to sign such a document must be illegal.

So I ain't got no depression, but what I do has is OCD, which usually manifests itself in mild ways but, rarely, escalates to a problematic point. Last time it was bedbugs, fear of. I just realized that my constant worrying about people, which is a fairly normal state of existence for me, has recently escalated into the "obsessive" category. I realized this when I realized that Hippie Boy hasn't texted me in EIGHT DAYS, which should be a godsend because I was going to break up with him and also it makes perfect sense after I rebuffed his advances on Valentine's Day, but the first thing I thought was "OH NO I BETTER TEXT HIM AND MAKE SURE HE'S NOT DEAD!"

People I have been obsessively worried about the deaths of in the last few days include but are not limited to:

My EFO (there was an incident involving her being out of the house and unaccounted for for about an hour)
Roger
My dad
Hippie boy
Sir Talksalot (I don't even like that guy, why???)
Mario

Last night, in particular, involved me sleepless and in tears because I was convinced that Mario is dying. Which, although I am not the only one of his friends to have had that thought, is still totally ridiculous no matter how I try to justify it.

Arthritis sucks.  Not sure if it's rheumatoid or regular - going to the doctor's tomorrow. All of my fingers are sore and stiff but the index finger on my right hand is the worst. It's swollen, red, and very tender, and there are raised "bumps" on the first joint.  Can't hold anything with my right hand without extreme amounts of pain.

Kodak just announced that they are discontinuing their 120 and 220 films.

I hopped quick onto Amazon to stock up and, of course, the shit costs twice what it did last week.

Also, what are they  THINKING? With the resurgence of medium-format cameras 120 and 220 are probably their only hope to survive the digital era. Fuckers.

Do slow stretchs with the hand, lay down nice and straight on your back (Just use the bed) arms straight out next to your sides, then just slowly raise your arms then stretch your fingers nice and slowly out when your holding your arms atleast 90 ~ 110 degrees in the air, then as your lower your hands just slowly get out of the stretch as your hands lay down by your side again. Just gotta remain calm and relaxed.

Make sure you have some Fish Oil (Good for joint pain and arthritis) and ask if you can get Glucosamine tablets or something like that. And ask about whether if Icing is a good idea at this stage.

It could also be possible you have a nerve compression in your ellbow (Hence the pain - it could be tendonitis), do you do any special sort of activities that take prolonged hours? Or sit in any particular position?

They'll probably put you on ibuprofen to begin with

eta : after you've found some improvement, look into getting some light-exercises done. You'd definatly be better off visiting the Physio instead of the Doc.

Thanks guys.  NP, right now I'm going through 1200 mg of Ibuprofen a day just to bring the pain down to coping levels.  Pain killers have never done much for me and I cant take codine due to allergies. I have a small bowl of water on a table next to my pc desk that I keep full of warm water at all times.  It helps more than the pills, I think. :3 

My mom has given me her permission to blame her for this (crap like this runs rampant on her side of the family).  Other than that, I'll live.  I've been through so much in my life up to now, and I'm just crazy enough that I'm not going to let a little swelling and pain get to me.

Becareful with the ibuprofen, those things can be bad at high doseage and also on long periods. I forget exactly, but they're worth having a look into. Bad for stomach if memory serves. But you don't have to live with pain. You can reduce the effects of it alot. a 5 minute stretch can do wonders in the long run

Anyhow, I'm not sure exactly what your doing or how much you know - and I'm not a professional or anything ... (maybe one day however )

Swelling pain can be very annoying, though I'm not sure if warm-water is good with inflamation, if your have muscle pain then I think warmth is the best, but joint pain and inflamation - icing is good.

Sunlight helps to, try forcefully sunbath around 10~15 minutes every few or so days, it does help with bones.

I forget the theory, but with exercises - a liquid is released and reabsorbed by your joint bones which helps keep them lubricated.

Getting onto Glucosamine helps rebuild cartalige (If you have a shellfish allergy becareful), Fish Oil (Omega3 - you can just buy fish oil capsules if you hate eating fish) helps with keeping the joints lubricated. Arthritis is usually damage to the joints + cartalige and due to a lack of lubrication so the bones are rubbing against each other (Unless its like  rheumatoid or something like that)

Of course double check with the physio/doctor. If you see a physio make sure you push to ask on what stretchs to do and exercises to focus on - then do them whenever possible.

Weight loss is also magnificent in cases like this, it eases the burden.

This happened to me once. My son was inside his friend's house and was supposed to be outside where I could see him. He was 10 minutes late coming home.
I flipped out and called the police.
I felt like an asshole when they were standing there telling me they couldn't find him and he came walking up.

I remember when I was little I would amuse myself by hiding places. One day I was hiding underneath the computer desk for a while and my mom didn't know where I was, and starting calling for me. I thought it was funny (yeah, I was a little shit) to stay quiet and see what would happen. But then I heard her dial the police and was like "Oshit I'm right here I'm right here! I guess it's not funny anymore!"
