What this thread has taught me:

In March 2003 I watched as our government sat by and let the Bush administration send our country down a bad path. Like hundreds of millions of Americans around me, I did not support the war, so naturally I was disgusted to see the majority of congress do nothing, and then vote for things that would enhance the war.

It was almost unforgivable.

But a few days ago, I found I was wrong about the nature of decision making. I voted yes to Slashfic on the PD. I thought it would be funnay. I thought it would be cute. I thought wrong. I didn't have the foresight to get a good view of the consequences of a Slashfic thread, and I chose rashly.

Well, corrupt politicians, I'm sorry. I now understand how lack of understanding can lead to horror.

When the word fluid is put in quotes, I automatically think semen is being secretly talked about.

Double whammy!

Unitarian Universalism is religion for people who are smart enough to know better but have decided that the menu tastes OK after all.

A better place to leave pr0n would be the legislators' offices.

- So the New World Order does not actually exist?
- Oh it exists, and how!
Ask the slaves whose labour built the White House;
Ask the slaves of today tied down to sweatshops and brothels to escape hunger;
Ask most women, second class citizens, in a pervasive rape culture;
Ask the non-human creatures who inhabit the planet:
whales, bears, frogs, tuna, bees, slaughtered farm animals;
Ask the natives of the Americas and Australia on whose land
you live today, on whose graves your factories, farms and neighbourhoods stand;
ask any of them this, ask them if the New World Order is true;
they'll tell you plainly: the New World Order… is you!
