I've both legit and groundless reasons for my dislike of the elderly. If the fact the AARP is the single largest membership organization in the world

:cn:

QuoteWhy are the elderly still not required to take a renewed license driving test? Everyone in their right mind can acknowledge a good percent of the elderly should not be allowed to operate heavy machinery in any form.

You are full of shit.

The guy's drivers license expired on his 70th birthday and after that he had to get it renewed every 3 years just like any other citizen of the UK except for the Queen.

INFORMATION SO POWERFUL, YOU ACTUALLY NEED LESS.

Sir Squid Diddimus

40% of accidents in orlando caused by men under 40
7%... elderly

they're also implementing an new thing here come january where if you have 3 or more accidents within a 3 yr period it's mandatory that you have to go to traffic school.

fact- college boys here cause a lot of accidents(also deadly ones). elderly are just slow in the left lane and come to a complete stop to make a turn.

And I was referring to the lax driving laws about license renewal in the states. You know, god's country. I'm ignorant of driving laws across the pond, and i couldn't care less about them.

Personally, due to the high number of fatalities as a result of the young being allowed to drive, I don't think anyone under 28 should be able to get a license. Self-absorbed stupidity peaks at 23, and by 28 is mostly worn off enough for people to enter society, hold rational, non-boring conversations, and safely navigate city streets in a motor vehicle.

"AARP has grown to 40 million members and has offices in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

As the nation's largest membership organization for people 50+, AARP is leading a revolution in the way people view and live life after 50."

Nothing about them being the largest membership organization in the world. Lazy ass.

Having recently been among high schoolers and college freshmen, I can attest that this statement is true.

(When I was younger, I was once told that I was born at the age of 35)

Mesozoic Mister Nigel

What scares me about you, Cainad, is that at the age of 19 you are already more rational, intelligent, and non-self-absorbed than most people of 30. Yet, of course, you still have a lot of growth and maturation to do on your own personal scale. It's just a different scale from most people.

Extrapolating that out to you at 30 and beyond...  :aaa:

I would say that you will rule the world, but obviously you'll know better. You'll probably lead a quiet, comfortably unobtrusive life and periodically issue forth world-changing advice or something.

Aw, thanks. :D

if it allays your fears that I might seek world domination, rest assured that I've been regressing since the age of 14. By 30 I will be watching Blue's Clues.

Yeah. I am.

Know of any other membership organizations that surpass 40 million? If so, enlighten me so that I may point out that i'm wrong on the internets, and the sky has fallen.

Define "Membership Organization".

The naive peak oil-er in me would be fine with that. I could easily bike from my apartment to anywhere I need to go.

I was going to avoid religious groups just because they're the borg, but if you wanna get numbers go for it.

Here's the definition as i saw it: http://www.hoovers.com/membership-organizations/--HICID__1473--/free-ind-factsheet.xhtml

And as the list I just posted states, blue cross and blue shield has more, thereby showing my statement was wrong.

I love foiling myself. It's great.
